Regular Program

Curriculum

The four core subjects include language arts, math, social studies and science. In addition, all students take the following complementary courses:  physical education, health, art and music.  Computer literacy skills are integrated in most subject areas.  French as a Second Language is taught from Grade 4-6.

Individual Program Plan (I.P.P.)

A student who is enrolled in Learning Assistance or a student who is not working on the regular curriculum within the regular class will have an Individual Program Plan (I.P.P.) This document is drafted by the classroom teacher and/or the school counselor, with input from the parents. The I.P.P. lists the academic goals and/or specific strategies, which will be used to help meet the needs of the individual. Report cards will reflect the progress achieved in accordance with the Individual Program Plan.
